This picture was taken from ALC3 when I rode as part of the Wells Team.

The AIDS LifeCycle event just wrapped up it's fifth annual ride from SF to LA. I have now participated in 4 of those week long rides. I chose to take off one year in 2004 otherise I've done all the ALC rides since the beginning.

This year's ride was very tough for me even though it was my fourth ride. You can read my stories of training and doing the ride on the by clicking on the ALC Blog link on the leftside menu. You can also read an article from the Daily Spin (ride newsletter Day 3) and I was also featured under the "Why I Ride" section on the ALC website. While on the ride, I was a media spokesperson and was interviewed by newspapers, podcasters and the LA Fox news. You can read the Santa Cruz Sentinel (my hometown rag) by clicking on the "In The News" section of my site.

This years ride had over 1,800 riders and raised over 8 million dollars. It was the most successful event for ALC. I was able to raise a grand total of $5,508 this year alone. More than I've raised in years past. It took me 60 donors to do it and I appreciate each and every one of you for your help to fight AIDS!

Riding 585 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But, I had an amazing time and couldn’t have done it without the incredible group that puts this event together as well as the friends and the family that have supported my efforts over the years. I couldn’t have done it without you!
